This is the disturbing moment a woman appears to spark up a crack pipe in broad daylight on the top deck of a double decker bus. The suspected drug taker can be seen crouched over her seat while inhaling deeply from what appears to be a crack cocaine smoking device. Witnesses told the Daily Record she had early asked a fellow passenger: “ Do you smoke crack cocaine?” Lunchtime shoppers strolled by yards from her on Princes Street, in central Edinburgh, unaware of what was going on. But the apparent drug use was caught on camera by a stunned 17-year-old who says she asked him if he used the Class A drug. Drugs: The woman unwrapped what looked like narcotics wrapped in cling film The teenager said she spoke to him as she sat down on the back of a number 26 bus. In the first of two pictures taken by the teenager, she can be seen squatting and facing the back of bus in the space between the back seat and the seat in front. There is a faint smile on her face as she prepares the pipe. The woman is seen in the second picture inhaling from the pipe, at the top of which is a white substance. A piece of clingfilm, normally used to wrap “rocks” of crack, lies next to her handbag. Shocking: The incident took place in Edinburgh city centre at lunchtime The photographer posted the images to social media, writing: “ Not every day someone starts smoking crack at the back of your bus.” One friend responded: “ Only in Edinburgh.” Another wrote: “ Ugh, that makes me feel sick in my stomach. Children have to sit on those buses. Disgusting.” “ Surely if you’re going to pick that up as a hobby, it should be in private, not on public.
