The Street Fighter 5 DLC update has recently been mentioned by Capcom UK’s Twitter. The tweet said that the March update is coming “shortly”. Fans are already getting crankier by the minute as the March update, which includes Alex, still doesn’t have a concrete date. Here’s the tweet from Capcom UK. Calling all Street Fighter V fans. We’ll have news on the next update coming shortly. Thank you for your patience. — Capcom UK Capcom_ UK) March 23, 2016 The tweet is straightforward but vague, leaving no particular release date for the update. It could mean that Capcom encountered issues in releasing the Street Fighter 5 DLC or they are just trying to surprise players for the remaining week of March. As of now, the game’s Steam newsfeed still doesn’t show any info about the upcoming update. The March update will contain Alex as well as new features that will be added in Street Fighter 5’s menus. Features like the in-game shop and Challenge mode are confirmed according to an old official update on Steam. The in-game shop will allow players to spend their Fight Money for costumes and characters. On the other hand, Challenge mode will provide extra tutorial content. Players have been impatiently waiting for the March update because the game has been lacking in content since it was released last February 16. Single player content is notably missing from its initial release. The upcoming single player content will be perfect for newcomers who want to thoroughly study their character and learn other move-sets before jumping into online matches. In other news, the game’s online matchmaking system has just recently been fixed. Although both posts of Capcom has users who clearly prefer that Capcom prioritize releasing the Alex patch. We are aware of the difficulties in Matchmaking you might say it is a less an alternate setting than a scrambled and renamed one, as well as heavily-simplified – there are no analogues of Asia or Africa, for example, and the world contains only about two dozen states in total. Not all the games in the series have taken place in this fictional milieu – a 2011 game is set in our real world, for example. The entries that are set in the fictional geography are (so far Eugene Ipavec, 21 September 2010 Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies Two flags from the Ace Combat series of fighter-sim video games are shown on the publishers' website.
